Privacy Policy for Rubriq sheets

This Privacy Policy describes how Rubriq ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and shares information when you use our Google Apps Script application, Rubriq (the "App").  We are committed to protecting your privacy and handling your data responsibly.

Information We Collect:

When you use the App, we may collect the following types of information:

Google Account Information:  We may collect information associated with your Google account, such as your email address, user ID, and profile information, as necessary for the App's functionality.  This information is only accessed with your explicit authorization through Google's OAuth 2.0 authentication process.  We do not store your Google password.
App-Specific Data: 
    Spreadsheet App: In Google Sheets, we may collect data from the spreadsheets you authorize the App to access, such as cell values, formulas, and sheet names.

Usage Data: We may collect anonymized and aggregated usage data, such as the frequency with which certain features are used, to help us improve the App. This data does not identify individual users.

Error Logs: In the event of an error, we may collect error logs to help us diagnose and fix issues. These logs may contain information about the context in which the error occurred.

How We Use Your Information:

We use the information we collect for the following purposes:

To Provide and Improve the App: We use your information to provide the core functionality of the App and to improve its performance and features.
To Communicate with You:  We may use your email address to contact you with important updates or announcements related to the App. (Only if applicable)
To Analyze Usage: We use anonymized usage data to understand how the App is being used and to identify areas for improvement.
To Debug and Fix Errors: We use error logs to diagnose and resolve issues with the App.

Sharing Your Information:

We will not share your personal information with third parties except in the following limited circumstances:

With Your Consent: We may share your information with third parties if we have your explicit consent to do so.

We take reasonable measures to protect your information from unauthorized access, use, or disclosure.  However, no method of transmission over the Internet, or method of electronic storage, is 100% secure.

Changes to this Privacy Policy:

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time.  We will notify you of any changes by posting the updated Privacy Policy within the App or by other appropriate means.
