While both middle and higher order questions have task words such as ‘justify’, ‘discuss’, or ‘evaluate’, middle order questions often require responses to link to a business scenario using provided information only.
In contrast, higher order questions require responses to infer possible examples or outcomes from a business scenario or case study.
The skill of inferring from business scenarios and case studies is essential to score well for the VCE Business management exam.
